Titisee has been the place of great sports events.
The German winter games, the first „Axel“, a special jump in
figure skating, was performed on the Titisee.
Unforgettable is the famous race with Stirling Moss and Ernst Udet
between car and plane on the frozen lake.
For millions of dollars the famous ski jump „Hochfirst“ has been
reconstructed to participate in the world cup of ski jump.
From November, 30 to December 2nd 2001 the world best ski jumpers
met in Titisee-Neustadt.
